Before using a high pressure washer, make sure to wear complete protective equipment, including non-slip rubber shoes, goggles and waterproof gloves, to prevent eye or skin damage caused by reflection or splashing of high-pressure water jets. Before starting, check the insulation of the power line to avoid plugging and unplugging the power directly in a humid environment. For fuel models, confirm the sealing of the fuel valve and the patency of the exhaust system.
When connecting the water inlet pipe of the high pressure washer, a filter must be used to block impurities. At the same time, ensure that the water source is clean and the water pressure meets the equipment requirements. Water shortage operation can easily damage the plunger pump.
When operating a high pressure washer, the nozzle must be kept at a safe distance of more than 30 cm from the cleaning surface, and a fan-shaped or rotating nozzle must be selected according to the type of stain. For stubborn oil stains, a 15° narrow-angle nozzle can be used to increase the impact force, but continuous fixed-point impact on fragile materials such as paint and glass must be avoided to cause damage.
During the cleaning process, keep the spray gun at an angle of 15-30° to the surface for scanning, and clean layer by layer from top to bottom to avoid high-pressure water from penetrating into the gap of the equipment and causing failures. In case of blockage, the equipment should be turned off to release the pressure before the nozzle is disassembled for cleaning. It is strictly forbidden to operate under pressure.
After use, a five-minute water rinse process is required to remove residual detergents in the pump body and pipeline of the high pressure washer to prevent chemical corrosion of the seals. When stored for a long time, the water tank should be emptied and anti-rust oil should be applied. Rubber parts should be coated with talcum powder to prevent aging and cracking. In winter, special attention should be paid to draining the water in the waterway to avoid freezing and cracking of the pump body at low temperatures.
For high pressure washers with heating function, the heating device cooling system should be turned off before stopping to prevent residual heat from damaging internal components. Regularly check the sensitivity of the safety valve and the wear of the sealing ring to ensure the normal operation of the overload protection function.
